The European Magazine Media Night 2012 is the number one meeting point for representatives of Europe’s magazine media, European politicians from the European Parliament, European Commission and Permanent Representations as well as relevant stakeholders.……….
This year’s event is unique in two ways:
Firstly, at the Magazine Media Night we will launch the second edition of the EMMA Magazine, including more than 30 articles from editors in chief, publishers and experts about the future of the magazine media. Secondly EMMA will use the opportunity to kick off the Future Media Lab., an innovative think tank approach about the future of media.

We will start with the European Magazine Media Night Lecture at 18.30h:
Andrew Rashbass, CEO of The Economist Group will provide us with insights to the changes his publishing house lives through in the times of change in the media landscape.
There will also be a high level political speech from European Commissioner Barnier (Internal Market and Services).

A brief panel debate with Francoise Le Bail, Director General Justice from the European Commission, Rik De Nolf, CEO of Roularta Media (B) and Group Express Roularta (F), Dr. Christoph Fiedler, Chairman of EMMA’s Legal Affairs Committee, chaired by Charlie Crowe, Publisher and CEO of M&M magazine will introduce the Future Media Lab (www.futuremedialab.info).
Following this the spectacular European Magazine Media Night Dinner in the format of a “walking dinner” surrounded by water and music will allow participants to meet old and new friends and colleagues.
Finally the EMMA Club Night will host a party – DJs and cocktails will provide an atmosphere for more chats and dancing.
