EMMA/ENPA cosign industry coalition statement on e-Privacy ahead of the TTE Council

EMMA and ENPA have cosigned a statement with a wide industry coalition to raise awareness on the open issues on ePrivacy ahead of the TTE Council meeting taking place on 8th June.

The letter strongly points to the inconsistencies between the legal instruments provided by GDPR and the ePrivacy proposal in its current version.

We would find that a push to accelerate the ePrivacy file following the TTE Council meeting would be unreasonable considering the wide array of remaining uncertainties.
