This Future Media Lab conference aims to anticipate the future media landscape in Europe. By doing so, it provides a unique opportunity for media experts, key stakeholders and politicians to come together to address how media consumption trends, technological innovation, new ways of content creation and business development impact the future of media in Europe. This interactive conference will be run in cooperation with the European Commission’s “Futurium” project (click here for more information) and its outcome will feed into the Futurium report to be published in early 2014 by the European Commission.

We expect 150 media experts from across Europe to attend, as well as European and national media policy regulators. The workshop format will turn this conference into a unique and enriching knowledge building and networking experience.

This conference is free for all representatives of the European Institutions. For general admission, we do ask a fee of €75*, which will be solely used to cover the administrative and catering costs incurred by the Future Media Lab. for hosting the event.

Tickets that include a one-night hotel stay (22 April – 23 April) are also available. Because this event takes place during “Seafood Week” in Brussels, we strongly recommend booking your hotel through our registration site, as we have secured special prices for this very busy week. We do want to warn our guests that last-minute hotel reservations may be difficult.
